I've sung through a few hymnals in my travels and noticed minor changes in the lyrics. Most of them had to do with helping to better communicate the song's message and/or etymology-connotation issues. But
here we have a story where a
suggested change in the lyrics declaws the previously-explicit message of the Gospel, in Keith Getty and Stuart Townend's most popular song, "In Christ Alone."
